successful result in complicated divorce and PFA case
December 2022
Our client was married for a long time and was the primary caretaker for the parties' several children. There were many complications, including a related protection-from-abuse (PFA) case. In the midst of the trial, we forced a favorable settlement agreement, with the other party conceding to give our client primary residential care of the children, spousal support, half the retirement assets, a fair settlement payment for the real estate, and payment of our attorney's fees. They also conceded to agree to a final PFA order to the benefit of our client.
